An integrated blood glucose measuring device (10) is described that has blood glucose metering device (10B), a glucose metering test strip storage mechanism (10A) attachable to the metering device, a test strip feeding mechanism (36) for feeding a single test strip (16) from the storage mechanism (10A) for blood intake. The metering device (10B), the test strip storage mechanism (10A) and the test strip feeding mechanism (36) are integrated into a single device (10) for blood glucose measurement. In another embodiment, a lancet mechanism (10D) is attachable to a side of the metering device (10B) and thus the metering device (1 0B), the storage mechanism (10A), the test strip feeding mechanism (36), and the lancet mechanism (10D) are integrated into a single device (10) for blood glucose measurement. |
