A sign board management system is provided to determine easily whether it is legal by using a specification measuring instrument, even though the sign board is installed at an unreachable place. A specification measuring instrument(110) calculates specifications information of a sign board by using a distance value which is obtained by irradiating and receiving a beam from the sign board. A management server(160) stores registration information including installation location data of the sign board. A portable terminal device(130) capable of downloading the sign board information displays the registered sign board information, and determines whether the sign board is legal and reconstructed. |
