PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize efficient operation for photographing a rectangle of an imaging target such as a white board or a paper document.

SOLUTION: An image processing device 3 inputs image data from an imaging device 2, and detects a line segment from the image data. The image processing device 3 then determines a rectangular frame that surrounds a white board 1 included in the image data from the detected line segment on the basis of information relating to the area of the white board 1.
