The absorbent article may comprise a garment-facing layer and an absorbent assembly. The sensor may be disposed in or on the absorbent article. The sensor may be separable from the absorbent article. A portion of the sensor may have a first dimension and a second dimension, wherein the first dimension is at least 1 inch and the second dimension is at least 2 inches. The sensor may be configured to sense a change in condition within the absorbent article.
