<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for molding a tire and a method of manufacturing a tire using the same advantageous in preventing appearance failure due to an air pocket, capable of providing a wear indicator without being restrained by a place of a tire division surface, and advantageous in increasing product value. <P>SOLUTION: This mold 10 for molding a tire of a sectional type comprises a plurality of sectors 12 for molding a tread. Each sector 12 includes a mold surface 22 for molding a tread surface, a groove molding bone 24, and a concave part 26 for molding a wear indicator. The concave part 26 for molding the wear indicator is formed at a distal part in a protruding direction of the groove molding bone 24. The concave part 26 for molding the wear indicator includes a bottom surface 2602 and side surfaces 2604 at both sides. An air discharge groove 28 for the recess extending over the entire length in a width direction of the bottom surface 2602 is formed at a place at either side in the extending direction of the bottom surface 2602. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
