The invention relates to a system for controlling the access of a person to an area, including at least one acquisition device to capture at least one image of an entranceway in which a person moves before reaching said area, a computing platform to which the image(s) acquired by the acquisition device are sent, the computing platform being suitable for implementing a person-identifying process to said image(s), and, at the end of the entranceway, at least one mirror that reflects a view of the entranceway onto the acquisition device that is directed toward the mirror or which can be directed toward said mirror, the captured entranceway images being reflected by the mirror(s), said at least one mirror including either a plurality of mirrors arranged with different orientations in order to reflect different views of the entranceway to the acquisition device, or a single continuously-deformed mirror. |
