A box-making and packaging device is provided. A box-making and packaging device for extracting and assembling a stored cardboard sheet and covering an item to be boxed with the cardboard sheet is equipped with a holder for removing and holding the cardboard sheet, a linear drive rail, a rotation rail having a linear portion and a curved portion, and linking arms. The linking arms comprise a first arm, and a second arm provided partway along the first arm so as to be pivoted by a rotating shaft. The first arm has a mechanism in which one end is linked to the holder and the other end is capable of moving on the rotation rail. The second arm has a mechanism in which one end is linked to the first arm and the other end is capable of moving on the drive rail.
