Use of a composition for the darkening of hair, a composition for use in the acceleration of wound healing and cosmetic use of a composition for the reduction of skin wrinkles wherein the composition comprises at least one peptide selected from the group of peptides selected from SEQ ID no.s 1 - 8 as herein listed in combination with any known acceptable carrier for topical application.
