摘要 <p>The device (501) has an elongated conductive element including a proximal end, distal end and a separating element i.e. transformer (505), galvanically separating the proximal end from the distal end. The distal end increases temperature through absorption of energy from electromagnetic field by the separating element. The separating element including a common transformer core (506) is capacitively decoupled such that high-frequency current induced in the conductive element by an alternating field component of the field is mitigated via the separating element. The conductive element is an electrode lead (502). The core is a ferrite core or functionally similar core, which is made of compactly joined, sintered or soft magnetic powder. An independent claim is also included for an electro medical implant comprising an impulse-generating device.</p>
