<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide connecting structure and method for a roof panel for improving waterproof in a connection part of roof panels. <P>SOLUTION: Among the roof panels 1 adjacent to each other along the direction of pitch of roof, a waterproofing sheet 8 coming into close contact with a surface of an upper end part of a roof material 5 for joint is provided on a rear surface of a roof material 4 positioned in a lower end part of the upper roof panel 1. An upper end part of an upper face of a panel body 2 of the roof panel 1 positioned below is inserted into a rear surface side of the roof material 4 positioned in a lower end part of the upper roof panel 1 and the lower end part is overlapped on a surface side of the roof material 4 positioned in the upper end part of the lower roof panel 1 between the lower end part of the upper face of the panel body 2 of the roof panel 1 positioned above and the upper end part of the upper face of the panel body 2 of the roof panel 1 positioned below to attach the roof material 5 for joint.
