A display apparatus having a multi-screen displaying mode to display a plurality of images, the display apparatus includes: a displaying part displaying an image; a location detecting part detecting location information pointed on the displaying part through a predetermined pointing device; and a controller adjusting the location information detected through the location detecting part, on a basis of an activating area of a tablet function according to a selected displaying mode when the multi-screen displaying mode is selected.
