摘要 <p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device (1) has a drive train (31) formed as two gear trains (32, 33), which are alternately designed as a reduction gear or a step-up gear. One of the gear trains is arranged in a housing (34) fixedly connected to a rotor shaft (14). Input and output elements (36, 37) of the gear train are connected to a cover (22) or a machine spindle (5). Relative rotations are produced opposite to input rotation directions between the elements by the former gear train during rotations of the housing for axial adjustment of an axially movable connecting rod (6). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Clamping device for a machine tool that is utilized for processing a workpiece. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The device ensures that a starter of a reversible electrical servomotor e.g. hydraulic motor can be fixedly arranged and a rotor of the motor can be stopped with a clamped workpiece, thus maintaining constant selected clamping force by the servomotor even in case of failure of electrical energy, and hence automatically achieving the security of the device. The device prevents the need of rotating masses, and ensures that necessary torque for axial force to be exerted by the connecting rod is permanently maintained.
