PURPOSE: A thruster watertight structure for a ship and an installation method thereof are provided to safely and easily install and dismantle a thruster watertight structure for a ship without dropping the thruster watertight structure on the seabed. CONSTITUTION: A thruster watertight structure for a ship comprises a lifting wire(40), multiple lifting eyes(10), buoyancy application space(30), a lifting arm(20), and a guide pipe(60). The lifting wire is connected to a strand jack installed in a drills hip or a rig pontoon. The lifting eyes comprise a hole so that the lifting wire can be passed and tied through the hole. The buoyancy application space has a welding surface(50) of which exterior is welded and fixed. An internal space of the buoyancy application space is filled with air. The buoyancy application space is positioned in the center of the thruster water tight cover. One end of the lifting arm is fixed on the thruster water tight cover by welding. The lifting eyes are fixed in one end of the lifting arm. The guide pipe guides the installation of the thruster watertight cover.
