<p>A hybrid vehicle includes an engine (100), a second MG (120) provided such that torque is transmitted between the second MG (120) and a wheel, a brake system (300) that applies braking force to the vehicle via friction force, and a control unit (170) that controls the engine (100), the electric motor (120) and the braking device (300). The control unit (170) executes control for decelerating the vehicle through regenerative braking by the electric motor (120) and braking by the braking device (300), executes control for either starting or stopping the engine (100), and due to execution of one control, restricts execution of the other control.</p> |
