<p>PURPOSE: A dimming angle detection circuit and a driving method thereof generating detecting voltage corresponding to a dimming angle are provided to exclude switching noise from angle detection, thereby activating an angle detection circuit regardless of size of a digital circuit. CONSTITUTION: A comparator circuit(10,30) generates voltage according to a comparison result of line voltage and zener voltage. A filtering circuit(20,40) generates detection voltage corresponding to a dimming angle of a dimmer. In case the line voltage is greater than the zener voltage, a zener diode is conducted. Second and third resistances distribute comparison voltage. A capacitor is connected to a second contact point.</p> |
