<p>PURPOSE: A novel carbazole compound is provided to ensure high hole transport property and to be used in a light emitting element of high luminescence efficiency or in a light emitting device, an electronic device, or lighting device with low power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A carbazole compound is denoted by chemical formulas 1, 2, 3, and 4. A light emitting element contains the carbazole compounds. A light emitting device contains the light emitting element. An electronic device or lighting device contains the light emitting device. A carbazole compound is also denoted by structural formula 100 or 101. The light emitting element contains the carbozole compounds of structural formula 100 or 101.
