PURPOSE: An information processing system, a control method thereof, and a storage medium are provided to continuously maintain regular transmission by notifying memorized address information and information processing device information to a network interface device. CONSTITUTION: An information processing system(200) comprises an MFP(100) and an NIC(101). The NIC is a network interface device which is attachable to and detachable from a MFP running by an intelligent network card module and the MFP. The NIC comprises an CPU(201), an RAM(202), a read only memory(203), and a network interface(204). The NIC comprises a light emitting diode(205), an extended interface(206), and a system bus(207) which interconnects these elements.
