<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment housing rack which can supply an electric power source to other equipment without installing an electric power unit for a rack, and can also reduce labor related to a cable routing. <P>SOLUTION: A bus bar 12 connected to an external power source is disposed in a rack 1, and a plurality of connector junction parts 16, 16,... are disposed on a surface of the bus bar 12. A power supply to equipment 7 is established by connecting a connector included in equipment 7 to the connector junction part 16 with a base power section 19 connected to the external power source. Therefore, unlike conventional ones, it is unnecessary to store an electric power unit for a rack in the rack 1.
