<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scum removing device capable of achieving an approximate flow rate of scum-mixed water flowing in to a flow passage formed by a trough. <P>SOLUTION: The scum removing device 10 includes: the trough 12 extending toward the outside of a sedimentation basin 1 and forming the flow passage 124 to which the scum-mixed water including scum mixed therein flows in; a weir 11 having an upper end 11a submerged under water; and an inflow port 125 which is installed in the trough 12 to be closable and through which the scum-mixed water flowing over the upper end 11a of the weir 11 passes when flowing in to the flow passage 124. The inflow port 125 restricts a flow rate of the scum-mixed water flowing in to the flow passage 124 to equal to or lower than a pumping-up flow rate of a pump 161. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
