LOW DUTY CYCLE DEVICE PROTOCOL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telecommunication device and a telecommunication method which enable communication with a remotely situated low duty cycle device even if the telecommunication device is in a sleep mode in order to conserve battery power.

SOLUTION: Remote monitoring of operations includes monitoring operational status information and transmitting the operational status information to a remotely situated low duty cycle device via radio frequency signals as short messages. The low duty cycle device is activated from a hibernating state in synchronization with the transmission of messages.
