<p>The purpose of the present invention is to more reliably prevent the electric shock of a user who has come into contact with an electrode pair of a power supply plug by reducing the power consumption of an electronic device while using a simple configuration. An AC plug, which is used in an electronic device that has a capacitor for removing internal circuit noise, has the following: a pair of electrodes for receiving an alternating voltage supplied from an alternating current source to an internal circuit; and a switching circuit that, when the electrode pair is connected to the alternating current source, puts one of the electrodes from the electrode pair and one edge of the capacitor into a conducting state while also putting the other electrode from the electrode pair and the other edge of the capacitor into a conducting state, and that, when the electrode pair is separated from the alternating current source, puts each of the electrodes from the electrode pair into a disconnected state.</p> |
