<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a gas turbine power plant with exhaust gas recirculation type, and to provide a gas turbine power plant with exhaust gas recirculation type, in which the method is performed. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, while a gas turbine (6) is started and is stopped, exhaust gas recirculation is stopped, and the actuation or stopping of exhaust gas recirculation is performed in accordance with an operation state of the gas turbine (6).
