摘要 <p>The present invention provides a sensor chip for an intermolecular interaction detection device, that is characterized by having a positively- or negatively-charged layer (a charged layer) formed on the outermost surface thereof. The charged layer is ideally a layer comprising an ionic polymer and the ionic polymer is ideally a polymer having a cationic functional group in a side chain thereof. As a result of using this kind of sensor chip, an intermolecular interaction detection method can be used that uses as the substance to be measured a negatively-or positively-charged substance having a counterion of the same charge as the sensor chip charged layer, and, for example, said method can calculate the thickness of a layer comprising the substance to be measured that has fixed on the outermost surface of the sensor chip as a result of the electrostatic interaction, i.e., can calculate the molecular length of the substance to be measured. In addition, the present invention provides a sensor chip having ligands affixed thereto, for use in measurement of intermolecular interaction and characterized by comprising a layer (an affixed ligand layer) formed by a complex (ligand-carrying charged fine particles) comprising fine particles (charged fine particles) having a reverse charge to the charged layer, and ligands bonded thereto, affixed by electrostatic interaction to the upper surface of the sensor chip charged layer.</p>
