<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid ink composition which is suitable for inkjet printing including printing using coated paper base materials. <P>SOLUTION: A phase transition ink contains an amorphous constituent and a crystalline constituent, wherein the amorphous constituent is composed of a citrate ester, and is present in an amount of about 5 wt.% to about 40 wt.% of the ink total weight, and the crystalline constituent is composed of an amide compound, and is present in an amount of about 60 wt.% to about 95 wt.% thereof.
