<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the behavior of insulated core wires 3 at the time of resin coating by preventing a coating resin 8 from infiltrating into connector holes 6 and 7. <P>SOLUTION: In the connection structure between the multi-conductor cable and the connector, a multi-conductor cable 1 is connected to the multi-conductor connector 5 by inserting a terminal member 4 connected to the terminal of the insulated core wire 3 into the multi-conductor connector. A PTFE tape 10 is wound across the connector and a cable sheath terminal, including the periphery of the multi-conductor insulated core wire 3 exposed between the connector 5 and the terminal of a cable sheath 2. The insulated core wires are assembled to close the area between the connector and the sheath terminal. A resin coating 8 is applied to the connector and the sheath terminal by way of the tape layer. Since the insulated core wires 3 are assembled to close the area between the connector and the sheath, a molten resin does not reach the insulated core wires 3, among the insulated core wires 3, and a hole 6 of the connector 5 at the time of applying the resin coating 8. Consequently, no molten resin leaks to a connection side opening 5a of the connector, nor the insulated core wires move, causing no connection failure of the connector, nor occurrence of the problem of insulation characteristic. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
