<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a shoulder pad, which has fatigue resistance and fracture resistance improved with a good balance while maintaining the heat buildup and elastic modulus of vulcanized rubber, and to provide a pneumatic tire. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition for bead filler includes at least a rubber component and an inorganic filler. The rubber composition is characterized in that the inorganic filler has an angle of repose of 40° or more, a Mohs hardness of 2.0 or less, and a BET specific surface area (BET5) (m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g) of 10 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g or more, and the ratio of the dibutyl phthalate (DBP) absorption amount (ml/100 g) to the BET specific surface area (BET5) (m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g), that is, (DBP)/(BET5) is 2.0 or more, and also the content of the inorganic filler is 0.5-30 pts.mass to 100 pts.mass of the rubber component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
