<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-cylinder type damper which can set a passage area of an orifice as desired, and can economically perform even the tuning of an attenuation force. <P>SOLUTION: The double-cylinder type damper comprises: a cylinder 1; a piston 2 slidably inserted into the cylinder 1; an outer cylinder 3 which is arranged at the external peripheral side of the cylinder 1 and forms a reservoir R between the cylinder 1 and itself; and the orifice which makes the inside of the cylinder 1 and the reservoir R communicate with each other. The orifice is formed of a notch 5a formed at an annular plate 5 which is interposed between the cylinder 1 and a blocking member for blocking the end of the cylinder 1, the inside diameter of the annular plate 5 is set smaller than at least the outside diameter of the end of the cylinder, the outside diameter of the annular plate is set larger than the outside diameter of the end of the cylinder, and the notch 5a is formed so as to be oriented toward the external periphery from the internal periphery of the annular plate 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
