To enable a reduction in the installation space for a card-issuing device having multiple processing units that perform prescribed processes with respect to cards, this card-issuing device performs processes on cards to be processed and issues the processed cards, and has multiple processing units, including at least a first processing unit that executes a process whereby a character string and/or a code is formed on the surface of a card to be processed, and a second processing unit that executes a process whereby information is recorded in a recording medium with which the card to be processed is equipped. The multiple processing units are installed so as to be aligned vertically in the card-issuing device. |
