<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine deterioration of an occlusion-reduction NOx catalyst rapidly and accurately. <P>SOLUTION: A determination system of catalyst degradation includes: a supply device for supplying a reducing agent to a catalyst; a NOx sensor for detecting NOx in exhaust downstream further than the catalyst; an EGR device; and a determination device for determining whether the catalyst is deteriorated based on a value detected by the NOx sensor if supply of an EGR gas by the EGR device is stopped, when an amount of NOx occluded in a NOx catalyst is equal to or lower than a predetermined amount and the reducing agent is not supplied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
