摘要 <p>Disclosed are an electrolyte supplement system for use in an aluminum electrolytic process and a manufacturing method therefor. The system comprises low molecular ratio cryolite. The low molecular ratio cryolite is selected among mKF-AlF3, nNaF-AlF3, or a mixture thereof, where m is 1 to 1.5 and n is 1 to 1.5. The electrolyte supplement system is applicable in aluminum electrolysis industry and allows, without amending the prior electrolytic method, for reduced electrolytic temperature and reduced volatilization losses of fluorides, thus reducing electrical power consumption and overall production costs.</p>
