<p>The invention relates to a system for monitoring and detecting a break in a pipeline, which continuously monitors pipeline status, allowing immediate identification of any problem or failure and a timely stoppage of the pipeline in order to avoid disasters. The system comprises resources based on artificial intelligence algorithms in order to prevent unjustified stoppages and the resulting operational problems. The invention has an independent decentralised architecture composed of sound sensors (1), field processing unit (2), data logger, central monitoring unit (4), software and stop valve (3); in the case of the decentralised architecture, the invention also includes GPS antennas (5).</p> |
