<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat radiation performance from a winding wire without deteriorating the inductance and the DC superposition characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A coil component includes: a composite magnetic material 2 mainly containing soft magnetic powder and a binder; a winding wire 1 at least partially embedded in the composite magnetic material 2; and a heat transmission soft magnetic body 3 located close to at least a part of a surface of the winding wire. The heat transmission soft magnetic body connects with a heat radiation path to the exterior of the composite magnetic material.
