<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mainly reduce troubles in construction, and to perform a maintenance/inspection job and a water leak test without a hitch. <P>SOLUTION: A pipe unit integrally includes a heat-insulated flexible pipe 5 and a pair of joint members (heat-insulated joints 6, 7) fixed in advance to both ends of the heat-insulated flexible pipe 5. One joint member (heat-insulated joint 6) is connected to the drain outlet 1a of an air conditioner 1, whereas the other joint member (heat-insulated joint 7) is connected to the fixed part of a drain pipe 2 installed at a higher position than the drain outlet 1a.
