摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the stability of a control system by increasing the degree of freedom of setting for a frequency fc of a triangular wave carrier in a multilevel power conversion apparatus or a serial-multiple power conversion apparatus which has a synchronous PWM control. <P>SOLUTION: A power conversion apparatus comprising a plurality of power converters which convert a voltage of an AC power source into a DC voltage and the converted DC voltage into an AC voltage, combines the AC outputs of the plurality of power converters into multilevel AC voltages to output. The power conversion apparatus comprises a PWM modulator for performing PWM control on the power converter which compares a carrier signal of a triangular wave with a phase voltage command of a sine wave to convert the DC voltage into an AC voltage, and a frequency ratio of the carrier signal of the triangular wave to be input into the PWM modulator to the phase voltage command includes not only odd multiples of 3 but also even multiples of 3 and multiples of integers excluding the odd and even multiples of 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
