<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair shaping device that gives less damage to hair in the hair shaping, particularly, in the finish in an ironing process. <P>SOLUTION: The hair shaping device includes a shaping operation part 2 that is structured in a comb shape. The shaping operation part 2 has two comb teeth rows Z<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, Z<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, wherein one of the comb teeth rows Z<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, Z<SB POS="POST">2</SB>can be displaced to the other. The hair shaping device opens/closes hair receiving intervals H between one comb tooth Z<SB POS="POST">1.1</SB>-Z<SB POS="POST">1.x</SB>of the one comb teeth row Z<SB POS="POST">1</SB>and one comb tooth Z<SB POS="POST">2.1</SB>-Z<SB POS="POST">2.x</SB>of the other comb teeth row Z<SB POS="POST">2</SB>respectively. A moving amount of movement of the comb teeth row Z<SB POS="POST">2</SB>which can be displaced for the purpose of closing the hair receiving intervals H to the other comb teeth row Z<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, is restrained by a stopper.
