<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print a desired image while optimizing a light irradiation condition. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejection apparatus includes: a carriage having a head for ejecting liquid is cured by irradiation of light and moving in a moving direction crossing a medium conveyance direction; a first irradiation part provided in the carriage to emit light, disposed on the upstream side or downstream side in the moving direction of the head; a second irradiation part for emitting light and provided on the downstream side in the conveyance direction of the first irradiation part; and a controller for forming an image on the medium by executing ejecting operation for ejecting liquid from the head while moving the carriage in the moving direction, and conveying operation for conveying the medium in the conveyance direction, and controlling the light irradiation intensity of the first irradiation part during the ejecting operation to adjust the surface condition of the image, and changing the light irradiation intensity of the second irradiation part according to the light irradiation intensity of the first irradiation part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
