PURPOSE: A haptic cue acceleration apparatus using ER/MR fluid for a manual transmission vehicle is provided to provide optimal timing for gear shafting. CONSTITUTION: A haptic cue acceleration apparatus using ER/MR fluid for a manual transmission vehicle comprises a tachometer(110), an acceleration pedal(16), a disc(12), a housing(10), ER/MR fluid(20), a control unit(120), and a high voltage unit. The tachometer measures the rotation speed of an engine. The ER/MR fluid is filed between the disc and the housing. The control unit generates cue signals following the rotation speed of an engine. The high voltage unit is installed for controlling the ER/MR fluid to have viscosity.
