FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: device is built using two diode laser sources, conventional fibre sources or fibre sources with delivery of medication, powered either through an electric system in case the device is in its fixed form or by (rechargeable) batteries for a portable, pocket-size device. The two laser sources operate in a range from 500 nm to 1000 nm, with power in the range from 0.01 to 100 mW. Rays pass through an optical condenser and, upon triggering a switch, they are emitted to a nail or the skin or even on a blood sample. A photodiode sensor or a CPU reads the value energy "subtracted" by glycated haemoglobin and free plasmatic glucose. This value is converted to the glycaemia value at that moment and then output on the device display.EFFECT: invention provides easy and fast determination of the value of glycaemia in the blood of a patient.4 cl, 1 dwg |
