<p>The device comprises a first biological processing cell (10) with a vertical percolation, a second biological processing cell (20) with a vertical percolation, a unit for feeding effluent to the first processing cell, an effluent collection unit, and a rigid plate. The first biological processing cell comprises a first filter medium in which plants are planted. The first filter medium has an upper face and an opposite lower face. The second processing cell comprises a second filter medium in which plants are planted. The second filter medium has an upper face and an opposite lower face. The device comprises a first biological processing cell (10) with a vertical percolation, a second biological processing cell (20) with a vertical percolation, a unit for feeding effluent to the first processing cell, an effluent collection unit, and a rigid plate. The first biological processing cell comprises a first filter medium in which plants are planted. The first filter medium has an upper face and an opposite lower face. The second processing cell comprises a second filter medium in which plants are planted. The second filter medium has an upper face and an opposite lower face. The feeding unit comprises a unit (32) to spill the effluent on the upper surface of the first filter medium, and a power strip (30) connected to the spilling unit. The effluent collection unit is adapted for collecting the effluent in the lower face of the first filter medium and for transferring the effluent in the second processing cell. The rigid plate is disposed above the upper face of the first filter medium. The spilling unit is configured for spilling the effluent on the rigid plate, where a height of the spilling unit is h. The power strip is inclined in direction of the first processing cell such that the effluent is projected on the rigid plate at a sufficient speed to ensure its distribution over the entire surface of the upper face of the first filter medium, and comprises a unit for aeration of the effluent and for disaggregation of solid material contained in the effluent. The rigid plate is disposed on a surface of the upper face of the first filter medium. The aeration and disaggregation unit comprises rollers fixed on a bottom wall of the power strip. The first processing cell comprises a unit for aeration of first filter medium by its lower face. The second processing cell comprises a unit for transferring effluent in the second processing cell. The effluent transferring unit comprises a unit for spraying the effluent on the upper face of the second filter medium, and comprises a tipper bucket. The tipper bucket is poured into a vessel in fluid communication with a duct opening (42), is an opposite end to the vessel, and has a reduced cross sectional area between the vessel and the opposite end. An independent claim is included for a process for purifying domestic wastewater.</p> |
