<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform joining processing between a container body and a lid member at high speed using a relatively inexpensive device, and to form both of the container body and the lid member of the same material other than metal. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for sealing a plastic container 1, the plastic container 1 consisting of the container body 10 filled with the content and the lid member 20 joined with the container body 10 is sealed by fusing joining parts of the container body 10 and the lid member 20 together. Before joining the container body 10 and the lid member 20 together, the joining part of the container body 10 or the joining part of the lid member 20 is previously heated to or above its melting point. When the joining parts of the container body 10 and the lid member 20 are put together to be joined with each other after the heating, the joining parts of the container body 10 and the lid member 20 are fused together by the heat of the container body 10 or the lid member 20 heated to or above the melting point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
