<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal clutch apparatus that can suppress a juddering phenomenon and the like by imparting friction to side surfaces of clutch shoes, can reduce the axial dimensions of the apparatus to produce a more compact apparatus and can reduce the number of parts. <P>SOLUTION: This centrifugal clutch apparatus includes: a drive plate 1; the clutch shoes 2; a housing 3 having an inner peripheral wall surface 3a; friction materials 4 for transmitting a drive force of a driving means to the housing 3 and causing the housing 3 to rotate, the friction materials 4 being affixed to surfaces opposite to the inner peripheral wall surface 3a in the clutch shoes 2 and abutting against the inner peripheral wall surface 3a when the clutch shoes 2 are swung by centrifugal force; and a stopping means for stopping the clutch shoes 2 relative to the swinging shafts L of the drive plate 1. The stopping means is constituted of a stopping plate 5 having pressure contact parts 5a curved toward the clutch shoes 2 and forced to abut with elastic force against side surfaces of the clutch shoes 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
