<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a broadcast playback speed when switching channels. <P>SOLUTION: In a transport stream synchronization device 100, one of a first buffer 10 and a second buffer 20 is set to be a playback buffer and the other is set to be a channel switch buffer. According to channel switching, each function of the first and second buffers 10, 20 is switched to the other. A data amount table 40 retains channel-by-channel data amount calculation information to calculate a data amount of a transport stream (TS) stored in the channel switch buffer. A buffer amount adjustor 50 adjusts the transport stream amount for channel switch, according to the data amount calculated by using the data amount calculation information. A channel switch controller 70 controls channel switch and when synchronization between audio and video is established, instructs a table manager 60 to update the data amount calculation information of a channel under playback. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
