<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device (10) has a communication unit (20) for communicating with an identification device (60) of a vehicle. A control unit (30) i.e. microcontroller (32), is provided in signal-communicating contact with the communication unit, where the communication and control units provide an accessing function and a driving authority function of the vehicle. The communication unit exchanges data with the identification device and comprises a coil (22), and the identification device comprises an active or passive radio frequency identification (RFID) coil. #CMT# : #/CMT# The identification device is formed in a smart card, a vehicle key or a mobile telephone.
