<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical segment for which concrete and a steel shell are integrated. <P>SOLUTION: The segment in an arcuate shape comprises a surrounding steel shell 1 and concrete installed side the steel shell 1. The steel shell 1 comprises a bottom plate 5 which is an arcuate steel plate, a main girder plate 4 positioned in an arc direction at an end of the bottom plate 5, and a joint plate 3 positioned in a direction of crossing an arc at the end of the bottom plate 5. Inside the steel shell 1, an end of a main reinforcement 6 arranged in the arc direction is welded to the joint plate 3, and an end of a distributing bar 7 arranged in the direction of crossing the arc is welded to the main girder plate 4. Or, only the end of the main reinforcement 6 arranged in the arc direction is welded to the joint plate 3.
