<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial heat pump system that is low in cost and favorable in thermal efficiency while retaining favorable work environment. <P>SOLUTION: The industrial heat pump system includes a compressor, a first heat exchanger, an expansion valve, a second heat exchanger, a first housing, a second housing and refrigerant piping. The first heat exchanger heats a predetermined object to be heated by a heat exchange between the object to be heated inside a building and a refrigerant compressed by the compressor. The second heat exchanger causes the refrigerant to absorb heat from indoor air by a heat exchange between the indoor air inside the building and the refrigerant expanded by the expansion valve.
