<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat removal system of a reactor capable of allowing the reactor to be in cold shutdown by injecting cooling water to the reactor by means of simple alternative facilities. <P>SOLUTION: A heat removal system of a reactor includes: a water injection pipe 3 connected to a nuclear reactor pressure vessel 2 so as to be able to inject water thereto; an air fin cooler 18 for cooling the water to be injected to the nuclear reactor pressure vessel 2; a jet pump 12 for boosting pressure disposed under a state that the jet pump 12 is submerged in pool water of a pressure suppression chamber 10; and an alternative water injection pump 15 that is installed at a place higher than the pressure suppression chamber 10 and feeds water to the water injection pipe 3 through the air fin cooler 18. The jet pump 12 feeds water of the pressure suppression chamber 10 to a suction side of the alternative water injection pump 15 when discharge water of the alternative water injection pump 15 is fed thereto. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
