<p>A rolling mill comprises a first and second roll (30A, 40A) disposed on a first and second bearing chock assembly (30, 40) and an upright post (20) having one end connected to a rolling mill base (10) and the other end connected to an upper crossbeam (50). The upright post and/or the rolling mill base forms a limiting mechanism which limits the movement of the first bearing chock assembly in the upward and downward direction, along the roll axis, and along the direction in which the rolled material advances. A downward pressure oil cylinder (80) capable of pushing apart the upper crossbeam and the second bearing chock assembly is disposed therebetween. A spring (70) capable of pushing the first and second bearing chock assemblies is disposed between adjacent end faces of the two chock assemblies. The rolling mill is composed of separate parts, has a rigid frame, has securely positioned bearing chock assemblies, and is easy to assemble.</p> |
