<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical laminate capable of suppressing occurrence of an interference fringe. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical laminate including a transparent functional layer that is laminated on a substrate through a transparent intermediate layer, when respectively setting thickness of the transparent functional layer and its refractive index as d<SB POS="POST">1</SB>(μm) and n<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, respectively setting thickness of the transparent intermediate layer and its refractive index as d<SB POS="POST">2</SB>(μm) and n<SB POS="POST">2</SB>and setting a refractive index of the substrate as n<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, the thickness and the refractive index are adjusted so as to satisfy characteristics in (1) to (4): (1) the thickness of the transparent functional layer is 1 μm≤d<SB POS="POST">1</SB>≤20 μm; (2) the optical thickness of the transparent intermediate layer is 440 nm≤4×n<SB POS="POST">2</SB>×d<SB POS="POST">2</SB>≤640 nm; (3) a fluctuation f in a reflectance ratio at 540 nm of wavelength, which is calculated using a theoretical formula for interference with setting wavelength dispersion of reflectance ratio on a side of the transparent functional layer as 4n<SB POS="POST">2</SB>d<SB POS="POST">2</SB>=540 nm, is 1% or less; and (4) the minimum thickness of the transparent functional layer satisfies d<SB POS="POST">1m</SB>≥(¾n<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-n<SB POS="POST">3</SB>¾/0.12)×ä(1000-875f)×[(4n<SB POS="POST">2</SB>d<SB POS="POST">2</SB>)-(540/1000)]<SP POS="POST">2</SP>+(3.6f+1)}. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
