POSITIONING SYSTEM, POSITION INFORMATION PROVISION DEVICE, POSITION INFORMATION MANAGEMENT DEVICE, AND POSITIONING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more efficiently perform positioning support related to a communication terminal capable of utilizing a plurality of communication networks.

SOLUTION: An SUPL server 20 of a positioning system 10 determines, from information specifying a connection destination of a communication terminal 60 reported by the communication terminal 60, to which communication network the communication terminal 60 is connected; and reports the information to a position information management device 30. Consequently, the position information management device 30 is prevented from requesting a network to which the communication terminal 60 is not connected to provide position information to be used for positioning of the communication terminal 60, thereby enabling more efficient positioning support related to the communication terminal capable of utilizing a plurality of communication networks.
