<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing device for turning performances of a carriage capable of easily measuring a carriage turning resistance, a wheel load, and a lateral pressure when turning the carriage for railroad vehicles. <P>SOLUTION: A testing device 100 for turning performances of a carriage includes: a swivel base 120 that has measurement rails 164 on which wheels 21, 22, 31, and 32 of the bogie type carriage for railroad vehicle 1 are mounted and that is supported turnably about a vertical shaft with respect to a car body 10 of the railroad vehicle along with the carriage; actuators 140 and 150 for turningly driving the swivel base; turning resistance detecting means 141 and 151 for detecting turning resistance of the carriage; wheel load detecting means 165 for detecting the wheel load of the carriage wheels; and lateral pressure detecting means 167 for detecting the lateral pressure of the carriage wheels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
